Data Rights Requests
This page explains how claimant and customer-user privacy requests are routed during pilots.
Claim evidence requests
For customer claim evidence workflows, the insurer, claims handler, MGA, or law firm is normally the controller. Claimants should normally send access, deletion, correction, restriction, objection, portability, explanation or reconsideration requests to the organisation handling the claim. Claimsight will support that organisation under the signed data-processing terms.
Claimsight account requests
Customer users may contact privacy@claimsight.io about account administration data that Claimsight controls directly, such as account profile, billing contact, support, and security records.
Automated analysis
Claimsight provides automated evidence indicators for customer human review and does not make a solely automated adverse claim decision. A claimant seeking an explanation, correction, human reconsideration or challenge should contact the organisation handling the claim so it can identify the relevant decision and evidence. Claimsight will assist the controller with data it processes on the controller's behalf.
You do not need to use legal language. Give the organisation your claim reference, explain what you want corrected or reconsidered, and provide any relevant representation or new evidence through its approved secure channel. A person should consider the request and be able to change the outcome; the automated indicator must not be treated as proof of fraud or as the sole basis for a decision.
If you cannot identify the organisation's route, contact privacy@claimsight.io with the claim reference only. We can help route a request concerning data we process, but the organisation handling the claim remains responsible for its substantive claim decision and response.
Evidence preservation
Deletion or restriction requests are assessed against active claims, disputes, regulator requests, contractual retention, and legal hold instructions before evidence or audit records are removed.
